My experience is from working with Carlos and Jay in particular. If you’re looking to work with Studio 308 as a photographer, I recommend you keep looking. During wedding season, they will post an ad seeking photographers to help with weddings starting at $20/hr during “training” and lure you in with the ability to make an hourly rate of $50-$100/hr as a photographer on board.However, the reality is that they will offer you a “test” for the initial session, UNPAID. You may or may not get the photos you take, and as the legal copyright holder of the photos, you should make copies for yourself because it has been like pulling teeth trying to get photos back from them from over a year ago. Essentially, I provided free labor as a second shooter with no photos to add to my portfolio.The only time you will actually get paid is if you act as a lead photographer during one of your unpaid “test” sessions and they finally deem you as checking off all the boxes.I understand how eager some can be so if you still decide to work with them, learn from my mistake and 1. require a contract at minimum and 2. Make copies of the photos you take on an extra card.
I needed a headshot on an urgent basis and reached out to Photo Studio 308. They responded promptly and were very accommodating to my request. They also guided me through the process and my headshot came out really good. I highly recommend them!

I quickly needed head shots for an article. I received an immediate response and appointment. I am not generally comfortable with getting my photo taken, but Carlos guided me and made the process feel more natural. Proofs were sent immediately and the photos (with a little retouching) were finalized in about a day. The photos turned out great! I have had head shots taken before and never liked the results. Now I have multiple photos to use! I highly recommend Photo Studio 308!

Carlos had a second photographer there during most of that time, as well. I really wanted to capture the joy of finally being able to be together with family and getting to celebrate. I had an outstanding experience working with Studio 308. I called with an urgent need for high quality photos. Carlos went beyond the call to ensure that setting and even my wardrobe was positioned to be captured in the best light. The final photos were produced rapidly and successfully. The company for which I work has very high standards and their immediate reaction to 308's photos was very positive. Not only would I highly recommend Studio 308 but I plan to work with them again in the future.

I needed a quick passport photo, so I googled studios in the area and found 308 around the corner from my work. The setup is great and has everything you need!! Carlos was able to take beautiful pics (especially since ID are usually awful) - with great lighting - and I was in and out in 5 minutes. Carlos is also super friendly!! 10/10 recommend. I will def be back!

I would give them 0 stars if I could. I ordered a set of shirts as a gift. To start, the color printed on them was faded. After one wash, the prints on the shirts were totally faded and what color was left had changed to green. After contacting the studio for a refund, they told me that this is what I get for ordering the “budget cotton” instead of polyester. Totally unacceptable. Do not buy from here. Take your money elsewhere.
A great place to have your passport photo taken! The guy was super patient and attentive and made sure that the light was optimal so I ended with a photo I really liked. Definitely recommended!
Working with Photo Studio 308 has been an absolute pleasure! Our wedding ceremony was at a local Mosque and I always had the initial fear of how a photographer would capture the essence of our cultures since my husband and I are of different ethnicities, but Carlos and Katerina have been so professional and accommodating to all our needs to capture our special moments for both the wedding and reception. Location and facilities are nice, but the owner/ manager is VERY difficult. If you reserve a room for 10:00, don't bother showing up at 9:55. You'll get yelled at and told not to come up until your actual time. Also expect to be talked down to about equipment. Even if you are a professional, he will insist on explaining how all of the equipment works (somewhat inaccurately I might add) and will complain about being called or asked about ANYTHING which is why me MUST mansplain to you.Also, if your supposed to be out at 12:00, expect to get a visit at 11:50.
